BeastNode's web hosting MySQL database is whitelisted by default (as is the case for many other web hosting providers also). That is, if you want to access the database from any source other than "localhost" then you will need to add the IP address of the server trying to access your database. To do this, you will want to login to your cPanel account and click on the "Remote MySQL" link. Once there, simply add the URL or IP of the host you want to allow access to your database.
*Note: You never want to use your web hosting MySQL database for plugins as it will cause lag due to the latency between servers in different locations. Please submit a support ticket so we can setup a local MySQL database for your plugins.
