I am very new to using BeastNode so bare with me here. I can't figure out how to edit the plugins I install. Currently, I would like to focus on Permissions with the PermissionsEX plugin. How would I manage this? I have looked through the FTP folder area, and have found the plugins I want to edit in the Plugins folder. However, I do not seem to be able to edit it from here. When I press on the plugins in FTP it shows up with this.

Clicking on these plugins only allows me to download them onto my computer. I have also tried this, but this does not seem to work. Do I need to edit the plugin on my computer, then add it as a plugin to the server?

I have also tried installing things like World Edit, but this does not seem to work on to the server. Help?

Thanks for the read,

Cinxz

The Realm of Obscurity.
Your server needs to be running on CraftBukkit/Spigot and have been restarted since you installed the plugins to generate their configs - there are no configs in the screenshot above, so either the server has not been restarted since they were installed or the server is not set to run on CraftBukkit/Spigot.

Vanilla and Forge servers do not load plugins. Vanilla is basic Minecraft and cannot run any mods or plugins and Forge is specifically for mods - not plugins.
Forge can be edited to run plugins but Bukkit plugins such as these cannot be used on Forge 1.8 or newer: https://www.beastnode.com/portal/in...To-Use-Plugins-on-a-ModdedorForge-Server.html

If you need CraftBukkit/Spigot 1.8 or older you would need to install it manually as we do not provide these versions due to how extremely outdated they are: https://www.beastnode.com/portal/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/72/How-To-Upload-a-Custom-JAR-File.html

I have uploaded my own JAR and tried this. Now, whenever I join my server crashes. I then moved on and tried to use Bukkit 1.9.4. The same issues happen, and the server crashes.

We would need the console logs of the crash to see the issue - any number of things can crash a server, the version is rarely relevant.

Alternatively send a support ticket in and whoever gets the ticket can see your server and check it directly.

This is what happens whenever someone joins the server. The server does not crash unless I join. This happens on a great variety of version in which I have tried. I have also removed plugins at one point and tried to join, it still had the same issue.

The server version is not relevant to the crash, however changing the version will never resolve the issue and is likely to cause further issues - the server should always be left on the specific version you are planning on using and any issues that come up should be resolved as they happen. Plugins are not your issue either.

You have chunk errors - generating a new world will resolve the issue.
