January 3rd Updates

JAR List Options that have been added:
- AT - Fossilized (2.0.4.r).
- Curse - Project Ozone 3: A New Way Forward (3.4.6)[Unsupported].

JAR List Options that have been changed:
- PaperSpigot 1.18.1 is no longer considered "Experimental" and is now no longer recommended against using at all. All advice from previous Minecraft releases for performance issues still stands in 1.18.1, so with this if you still have issues with Spigot after following all advice given regarding server settings to change then switching to PaperSpigot and doing all recommended paper.yml tweaks is also now advised again (https://www.beastnode.com/forums/threads/minecraft-1-13-performance-issues.914/).

December 5th Updates

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Forge 1.18.1 (Latest - 39.0.10).

NOTE - As with all of the plain Forge options, it will wipe your servers config and mods folders on install. Unless you require the newer Forge build for any mod changes you are making you should not update to this build.

If you do require a Forge update, follow these steps exactly to avoid any issues with your setup:
- Stop the server.
- EITHER - Download a copy of your mods and config folders OR rename them in the files to something else OR move them into a different directory so they are not in the base directory.
- Set your server to load a new world by changing the name in the World box on your control panel and save changes at the bottom of the page (keep note of your old world name).
- [For Forge 1.17.1/1.18.1] Delete the libraries folder from your server files.
- Select the updated Forge option on the jar list.
- When the page refreshes to confirm the change - restart.
- When the server comes up as online shut it back down.
- Put your world name back in the World box and save changes at the bottom of the page.
- Delete the new mods and config folders from the files.
- EITHER - Reupload your mods and config folders that you downloaded previously OR rename them back to mods and config OR move them back to the base directory.
- Start the server back up - Done.

JAR List Options that have been updated:
- PaperSpigot 1.8.8, 1.9.4, 1.10.2, 1.11.2, 1.12.2, 1.13.2, 1.14.4 and 1.15.2 have been updated for backported patches for the log4j exploit.
- The Mohist 1.12.2 option, updated to build 295.
- The Mohist 1.16.5 option, updated to build 905.

To update if you are already using these options simply delete the jar folder from the server files and restart the server.

JAR List Options that have been changed:
- All Spigot 1.8+ and all PaperSpigot options on the jar list now state their build string that is given when you do version in the console, not just the [Latest] option.
Please check that your servers version output matches what the jar list states if you use any Spigot/PaperSpigot option and if it does not delete the jar folder from your server files and restart the server to make sure you are up to date - both with general patches/fixes and for the log4j backported fix for all versions that it effected (if you use the [Latest] options you should be doing this at least a few times a week in general).

As this is primarily because of the log4 exploit, the Spigot 1.7.10 and older options and all CraftBukkit options have not been renamed on the jar list, as none of them have required recent updates and are all still the same build as when we added to them to the jar list.

Note when doing version in the console, you may get a you are X version(s) behind message or similar - this can be ignored for the most part as it's not always referring to the build for older versions just that it's not the latest MC version in some cases. Check against the build string specifically.
The error older PaperSpigot versions give when doing version can also be ignored, it is only due to a changed/removed URL that it's trying to check - the version string is above the error.

- The SpongeForge 1.12.2 option, updated to include SpongeForge 1.12.2-2838-7.4.7.
- The Fabric 1.17.1 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.45.2).
- The Fabric 1.18.1 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.45.2).

To update if you are already using these options simply delete the jar folder from the server files and restart the server.
For those updating the SpongeForge options you will need to delete the SpongeForge jar file from the mods folder as well as the jar folder before restarting.
For those updating the Fabric options if you have renamed the Fabric-API.jar file in the mods folder at any time this must also be deleted or it won't auto-remove and update correctly (nothing else in the mods folder is touched so it won't effect your installed mods when updating).

To update if you are already using these options simply delete the jar folder from the server files and restart the server.

January 29th Updates

JAR List Options that have been removed:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.8.17).
- Curse - Engineer's Life 2 (1.11).
- Forge 1.18.1 (Latest - 39.0.44).

Note - All servers that were using the Forge 1.18.1 build .44 have been switched to the Custom Server JAR option for Forge 1.18+.

This is due to the fact that Forge 1.17+ does not run from a .jar file and without being linked to a jar list option that is specifically set up otherwise MultiCraft will only look for a .jar file, meaning any server that was using the now removed build would just crash on startup due to no jar file being found if it was left set to the now removed option.
When switched to the Custom Server JAR option for Forge 1.18.1+ the server will load exactly the same as it did previously on the .44 build - if you do not require an update for the Forge build for your mods then your server can be left as it is. If you do require an update please follow the steps in the previous updates post to update to the newer Forge build without issue (due to it removing mods/configs on first install).

Due to the above, this will now be done every time a Forge 1.18+ build is removed.
