September 1st Updates

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Forge 1.15.2 (Latest - 31.2.55).
- Forge 1.16.5 (Latest - 36.2.4).

NOTE - As with all of the plain Forge options, it will wipe your servers config and mods folders on install. Unless you require the newer Forge build for any mod changes you are making you should not update to this build.
If you do require the update, follow these steps exactly to avoid any issues with your setup:
- Stop your server and log into the server files/FTP.
- Delete the jar folder.
- Make a new folder (any name just something different and memorable so you remember which it is) and move the config and mods folders into it, along with the world folder you are using.
- When done, load the server back up.
- Once it has loaded shut it back down and go back to the server files/FTP.
- Delete the config and mods folders, as well as the folder with the same name as your world.
- When they have deleted, move the contents of the folder you created previously (the config, mods and world folder you moved to it earlier) back out to the main directory (after this is done you can then delete the empty folder).
- Start the server back up.

To continue using the previous Forge build, without it making your server never show as "Online" on the control panel, follow these steps:
- Log into your server files.
- Go into the /jar directory and rename the Forge file you are using (the name is in the JAR File box on the main page of your control panel) to custom_server.jar exactly (case-sensitive).
- When done, go back to the main page of the control panel and change the drop down jar list from the Forge option you are using (or "Default" if it has already been removed from our list" and select the Custom Server JAR [Java 8] option.
- Restart the server.
It will continue using the same Forge build you have been using, but will continue to show it as Online on the control panel correctly even when we remove that Forge build from our list.

JAR List Options that have been updated:
- Mohist 1.16.5 updated to build 764.
- The Fabric 1.16.5 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.39.2).
- The Fabric 1.17.1 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.39.2).
To update if you are already using these options simply delete the jar folder from the server files and restart the server.
For those updating the Fabric options if you have renamed the Fabric-API.jar file in the mods folder at any time this must also be deleted or it won't auto-remove and update correctly (nothing else in the mods folder is touched so it won't effect your installed mods when updating).

JAR List Options that have been removed:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.7.10).
- FTB - Endeavour (1.4.0).

Remember to keep up to date with the options tagged with [Latest] on the jarlist if you use them - updates for these are found on the first link below, and the second link lets you know how to update if you use these options:

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.8.0)[Unsupported].

Please note - This update for All the Mods 6 is strongly recommended by the pack developers to have a new world generated for it, even if you're updating from an older version of the All the Mods 6 modpack.

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.8.2)[Unsupported].

Please note - As with 1.8.0 this update for All the Mods 6 is strongly recommended by the pack developers to have a new world generated for it, even if you're updating from an older version of the All the Mods 6 modpack. This is particularly the case for 1.7.11 and older, but also for 1.8.0 due to generation issues that were fixed in 1.8.1.

JAR List Options that have been removed:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.7.11).

September 15th Updates

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.8.3)[Unsupported].
- Curse - Engineer's Life 2 (1.08).
- Curse - MC Eternal (1.5)[Unsupported].
- Vanilla 1.18 Snapshot 21w37a [Unsupported].

NOTE:
Just a general reminder that snapshots are never stable - poor performance should always be expected when using snapshots, and this is even more so the case for the 1.18 snapshots that have just begun as the increased build height and new terrain generation is expected to cause performance nose dives, particularly in the earlier snapshots before tweaks are made to improve the performance.

As always if you do use the snapshots - generate a new world for them do not use worlds you plan on using again in the future.
For example if you are on 1.17.1 now and want to try the snapshots do not use your 1.17.1 world with the snapshots, generate a new world - that world should then only be used with the snapshots, not 1.17.1 or older and not 1.18 when it releases in full.

Just in case - always make a backup of your server files (world in particular) before changing versions. If you accidentally load a 1.17.1 or older world on the 1.18 snapshots, and do not have a backup of it prior to it loading on the snapshots to roll back to if needed, that world will almost certainly become unusable on 1.17.1 and older without major issues, if usable at all.

JAR List Options that have been updated:
- The Mohist 1.12.2 option, updated to build 253.
- The Mohist 1.16.5 option, updated to build 778.
- The Fabric 1.16.5 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.40.1).
- The Fabric 1.17.1 option, updated to include Fabric-API (0.40.1).

September 19th Updates

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Forge 1.17.1 (Latest - 37.0.69).
- A Custom Server installation option for Forge 1.17.1 (and modpacks that use it).

Note - As with all plain Forge options the mods and config folders are wiped on first install (the first time you load the server on that specific Forge option, and any future restarts on the option if you have deleted the jar folder) so Forge should be installed before uploading any mods you wish to use and then generating a new world for those mods.

Forge 1.17.1 and newer are also installed differently compared to Forge 1.16.5 or older, so there are separate guides for these versions when you need them, whether it be to install a Forge 1.17.1+ build we have not yet updated for on the jar list (as with all Forge options we will check for updates every Wednesday) or for a 1.17.1+ modpack we do not provide:

Along with this new guides have also gone up for custom Fabric and Fabric modpack installations:

JAR List Options that have been removed:
- Curse - All the Mods 6 (1.8.2).
- Curse - Engineer's Life 2 (1.07).
- Curse - MC Eternal (1.4.4).

JAR List Options that have been added:
- Vanilla 1.18 Snapshot 21w38a.

As always if you do use the snapshots - generate a new world for them do not use worlds you plan on using again in the future.
Worlds created with a snapshot should only be used with the snapshots, not 1.17.1 or older and not 1.18 when it releases in full - in general it is also strongly advised to generate a new world for each snapshot (for example a world used for last weeks snapshot should only be used with that snapshot, not this weeks snapshot, to avoid potential issues that otherwise would not be there).
