Both of them will give you the same results - the ability to use plugins, but they do so slightly differently. CraftBukkit can be considered the "original" of these types of server JARs while Spigot is a branch of CraftBukkit that is developed by a different group of people to have somewhat better performance (but it isn't officially from the Bukkit team and could have various minor problems). Whichever you choose, the same plugins will be supported. Now on to the instructions!
- First, login to your Multicraft control panel at https://mc.beastnode.com Locate the "JAR File" drop down menu. Click on it and find your desired server JAR and the version you want (you'll find them in the "Plugins" section near the bottom).
- It is important to note that the version of the server JAR you choose will determine the version of plugins you must install. Installing the incorrect version of plugins on a mismatching server version will result in either the plugin not working or potentially many problems that can range from server lag to crashes.
- Once you select the JAR file you want, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit save, then click restart at the top to reboot your server and load up that JAR file. You're all done and are now ready to install plugins!
