How to Use the VPS Serial Console

The VPS serial console allows you to access your cloud VPS server with SSH directly from the back end. So if you have a firewall misconfiguration or some other issue that doesn't completely kill the server, you can gain access to your VPS with the serial console to troubleshoot.

First, login to your cloud VPS control panel at

hen click on the server you want to manage.

Click on the "Serial Console" icon on the next page.

Select how long you want the serial console session to last, then click "Create Session"

From here, you can choose the HTML 5 console which opens the SSH console in your browser window. You can also see the details to connect to your serial console session with an SSH program of your choice.
