Failed to Adapt Server Configuration

If you are getting the "Failed to adapt server configuration" error in your console when starting up your server, check if your disk space is maxed out and delete any unnecessary files. Maxed out disk space usage is usually the cause of this error due to the server.properties file being unable to be written to - There is a guide on managing and upgrading your disk space usage HERE.

When the disk space issue has been resolved - through either upgrading the space or removing excess files to free some space up - if the issue persists check the file size of the server.properties file. If it is reading as 0MB in size then it has corrupted due to the disk space overload - deleting this and restarting the server should resolve the issue at that point.
